A smelly cat is not what you want to have in your house, but what can you do about it?
You should always clean the cats litter, brush and wash your cat and keep your house clean.
I guess most of use stick to these simple rules and some may still have the problem of having a smelly cat.

The most smell comes from the places where you cat stays the most.

If your smelly cat sleeps in a basket, make sure to air it at least every two days.
Another method is to use deodorant on your cats bed, but please do not over do it, because your cat may dislike the smell of the deodorant, so start with using a little and watch your cats reaction.
You should also clean your carpets on a regular basis. Baking soda is a common and cheap product for doing so. Little cats may urinate on your carpets and the smell stays in there for a very long period.
Even if you cleaned the carpet afterwards, you still may keep the cats smell.Hoovering is very important, because your smelly cat loses hairs that smell aswell.
An air fragrancer is also very usfull while fighting thesmelly cat in your house.
There are tons of them, but i would suggest a non chemical one.
They might be a little bit more expensive, but you can use them for a long time, so the costs will not matter that much.
