Cat in the EM 2012

Since the football EM 2012 is currently running, nearly everyone s watching it, discussing about the teams and their tactics. Whenever you go into a bar or a pub, football is the current topic. We are supporting our teams, betting on the outcome of games and celebrate goals with friends. Cats like the EM 2012 aswell! I found a way to visualize their thoughts about it, since we can't understand their language! cats discussing EM2012 tactics!

After discussing their plans, they go out into the field and test them.
They practice very hard to fulfill their dream of beating the humans one day.

In my opinion, some teams could take an example on these cats, since they are working very hard.
But to be fair, they got one big advantage...They got four legs!

Canned wellness food for cats

Hey.
Lately i got a lot of food related questions I answered via email, so I felt like posting about a special cat food topic.
We usually spend much money and time on chosing the right food. Some of us are vegans that try to avoid any animal products, some are weightlifters and eat a lot of protein, some only eat happy animals etc.
"You are what you eat" might be the slogan for our lifestyle. But when it comes to our pets, most of us don't see the point in good food.

We feed our pets dry food with plant protein only, while it's easy to find out that this isn't a good idea, only because it's cheap. Canned food offers the best price/quality ratio, but today I want to talk about the premium line of canned food: Canned wellness food for cats.
Some companies are selling this kind of food and consumers buy it to do their cats a favor. Is this a waste of money or do our cats feel like we do and appreciate the great wellness food and gain health from it? Well... first off, there are tons of products and they all vary, but due to my research, they got one thing in common: They are overpriced!

Cat food producers try to earn money with the "organic food wave" and produce the wellness food. If you take a look at the ingredients, it is easy to tell that they don't vary from standard canned food ones. Cats need a big amount of protein. There are plant-based proteins and animal-based proteins. The cats organism can make better use of animal-based proteins.
Usual sources of proteins in canned food are chicken, poultry, beef, fish, bones and meat meal. Plant-based proteins come from wheat germs, flaxseed meal, corn, soya and barm. Wellness food for cats tries to avoid byproducts of meatproduction like heads, feet, bones and organs.

feed your cat raw fish!
Those products sound disgusting to us, but for animals they offer great substances that are important for their body. Because of that, I wouldn't go the extra mile and buy canned wellness food for cats. If you wan't to do them a favor, don't use dry food. On special days, you can feed them raw, what would be the best feeding quality!
